The interested candidates may appear at the walk-in interview with all their original certificates, mark sheets, with a self-attested photocopy of each and a recent passport-size photograph, along with the filled-in Application Form available on the Institute's website, as per the scheduled date and time of the walk-in interview as mentioned in the notification. The selections will be based on the performance and overall assessment of the candidates by the selection committee, and the result of the interview will be published on the institute's website (or may also be communicated via email).

The Institute is looking for dynamic and creative young Indian researchers having excellent academic record and interested in Product Development, Technology Innovation and Translational Research in the above broad areas as Scientists at the Institute. The posts are primarily meant for CSIR-CMERI Hqrs at Durgapur (West Bengal) & CSIR-CMERI Centre of Excellence for Farm Machinery at Ludhiana (Punjab). However, the incumbent shall be liable to be transferred from / to the Institute Centre CSIR-CMERI CoEFM, Ludhiana and vice versa and to any of the CSIR Labs/Instts. including its centres as per the need in public interest.

A Walk-in-interview will be conducted at CSIR-CMERI, Durgapur during 16th & 17th December, 2020 to select candidates for engagement as Project–SRF/JRF/Project Associate/Project Assistant/CSIR-UGC JRF(NET) under various projects. The selected candidates will have opportunity of hands on training/exposure of working under different R&D projects at state of the art Laboratories.
