Dr. Siva Ram Krishna Vadali (M'18) received the B.Tech. in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU), Hyderabad, in 2001, the Master of Science (MS by research) and the Ph.D. in Telecommunications Engineering from IIT, Kharagpur in 2009 and 2020, respectively. Since 2010, Dr. Vadali has been working as a Scientist at the erstwhile Robotics & Automation Division, CSIR-Central Mechanical Engineering Research Institute, Durgapur, India. Dr. Vadali's research interests are in - Statistical signal processing, Mathematical statistics, Estimation and detection, Physical layer issues in Wireless Communication, Underwater acoustic signal processing, Algorithm-Architecture Hardware codesign, Hardware Architecture design for terrain and underwater robotic vehicles, Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence for real-life applications. Dr. Vadali was a recipient of the Young Engineer award in Electronics and Telecommunications Engg. discipline from Institute of Engineers (India), IEI, Kolkata (2013) and Fellow, Institute of Engineers (India) (FIE) (2022).
