During last 10 years, commercial production & use of tractor-driven rotavators (rotary tillers) in India. There are more than two dozen brands in the market. However, design refinements in the existing rotavators are required for standardization, durability, efficient power utilization and versatility. Metallurgy of critical components, sound design of rotary blades and power transmission are required.
